Pain in the ass to work on, and I bet you will be doing a lot of wrenching b/c it is a 17 year old car. Good luck, I hope its not your only car b/c when things break it is going to take a min for parts to come in

if its your daily driver i would be proactive about replacing stuff thats worn or old. the ignition components need to be replaced more than any other car i have owned. for some reason i cant download the pic you posted. is it turbo or na?
+1 on mr2oc.com and mr2.com. these sites will save you tons of time and money. not too mentino you can find alot of parts on there as well.
how does it drive i can probably tell you whats about to break. lol

it drives good, i have some ratling from the rear driver side, sounds just like when i have my civic and the trans inspection plate was loose. and when i go in reverse, i dont know if its just something up from but there is a kinda like a grinding coming from the front right side, only sometimes it will do that, when i turn and reverse. and thats about it

do you have an aftermarker air intake? is it the turbo or na.

hfh and hfoe havent had any problems w/ them yet. i am putting in a new engine in 2 weeks will replace them while i am at it. just something about a house w/ the name hell involved that makes me want to be proactive about replacing it.

alternator can be rebuilt for $100 or less. Ignition components last as long as any other car. If I had another one I would keep the power under 300whp and keep it movin!
