Sonic is not that small and when we use to have them there we had 30-40 cars several times with no problems. The furniture store parking lot backs up to Sonic and the entire strip is closed by 6-7 pm. On the other side the carpet store closes early as well. We usually had the over flow to the right of Sonic in the lower part and it worked out fine.

I think it would be a good idea and we might join in as well but it is a little too cold right now for outdoor events. Athens meets moved indoors to a really nice burger joint and we like going there as well as the Winder crowd @ Beefs place. Find somewhere that has a decent indoor facility with food and you will have a lot better turn out during the cold months. I know there is Arby's, Zaxby's, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, etc. but the nicer the better to an extent. Nobody wants to go to a car meet and spend $25 on dinner. I would suggest maybe on the high end Ruby Tuesdays, Chili's or maybe even Applebee's. On the lower $$$ end would suggest checking out El Ranchero, Monterrey, Bassano's Pizzeria, Dms Athens Pizza or even Johnny's New York Style Pizza. I think most of them have ample parking but ride down that way and check them out before setting something up.

Just my :2cents:.
