I think Couture in his prime would have rocked Lesnar but I already knew Lesnar would win before the fight even started.

was it just me, but the "knock out" punch of Lesner looked weak. If u look at the slow mo. it looked like it barely grazed him. It's just weird to me.

Getting hit behind the ear will trigger an immediate FLASH KO. I've had it happen to me in training, and it doesn't take a lot. It's like taking a shot to the jaw, which is very much like an "off" button. You don't need to hit it that hard to KO someone. It was enough to take Randy's legs out from under him (remember how big of a guy that's throwing those bombs at him), but the 30 unanswered hammerfists on the ground was what ultimately led to the stoppage.

Sorry but i do not like Lesner and how the UFC has been setting up their fights. This is Lesner 3rd fight and it gets to be a title shot? I mean he only one once. Frank Mir beat Lesner. If i was Frank i'd be pissed as hell wondering why a person i beat got to have a title shot. Minotauro was the champ while Couture was gone and he should have been the first in line to fight Couture. It's ok because Minotauro will destroy Lesner.

WTF does Frank Mir care? He's getting a title shot himself after beating a guy who had 1 pro fight! This is always how it's done. BJ Penn had 4 pro fights before getting a title shot, so Brock getting one with only 3 is pretty much normal. Who cares though? He made good on it, and kicked Randy's ass, so it's all a moot point now.

Didn't BJ win all three fights before getting a shot a Pulver? How is Mir getting a shot at the title? He has to fight Minotauro who doesn't have the belt. My point is Minotauro should have had first dibbs on the belt.

BJ fought guys who weren't even close to the level of Herring, or Mir too though. Trust me, I'm not dogging BJ. I know him, and have talked to him numerous times about stuff like this, but the UFC doesn't use a ranking system. It never has, never will. They put on big fights that people wanna see. Werdum would've technically been the top contender, but who would've wanted to see him fight? In the end, he got KTFO by a guy making his UFC debut anyway, so him being a contender got flushed down the toilet really fast. Anyway, Nog is the interim champion (he beat Tim Sylvia during the time when Randy was in his contractual dispute with Zuffa), and that's what Mir is fighting for. The winner of that fight will face Brock, so yes, he's getting a title shot with virtually no merit behind it either.
