i had one on my windshield wiper one time... they are mini aliens i tell ya!! they have this cute little triangle shaped head.. anyway i didnt want to touch it to make it fly away so while i was driving i turned on my wipers.. needless to say that little alien went for a ride!! he finally flew off... everything they do is slow motion... its funnay FUNNAY!!

*side note- the females eat the males after mating, smart move.. now you know they wont cheat*

i dont think they can fly for long periods of time.. they are so slow and typically try to stay in one location for awhile...

"As you can see from the photographs this hungry mantis captured and killed a hummingbird not much smaller than itself. The mantis used its spiny left foreleg to impale the hummingbird through the chest while leaving his right leg free." :D
