Whatsup everyone?

My name is Mark, I just moved to Monroe 2 days ago from Virginia.

Ive got a PT Cruiser. Go ahead, flame on. I wanted to build something no one else is building.

so far:
Ram air
AGP 50 trim turbo
AGP hard pipes
DCR throttlebody
DCR top end modifier
DCR stroker kit
Extensive port and polish
Crower cams
Crower valve train
5 angle valve job
Fidanza gears
Balance shafts removed
Windage tray, crank scraper
UEGO Controller
Hallman boost controller
NeedsWings downpipe
MSD ignition setup
Aeromotive FPR
Map clamp
Walbro 255 pump
Eibach suspension
Prothane mounts and bushings
And a whole lot more

Put down 438 hp/446 tq at the wheels @ 16 lbs. Ive run up to 26 lbs safely, but no dyno numbers yet. 100 shot wet kit and enginerunup mist system have not been fired yet.

Its charcoal grey metallic with black top, flat black 18 inch wheels, flatblack trim and mirrors.

Its been lightened a bit, 3115 with me in it.

Ive seen a few modified cars rolling around but havent talked to anyone yet.

Someone PM me when and where people meet up. In Virginia there was somehting car related going on every night. Id like to see how the cars are done down here, and meet some like minded people.

Im a laid back dude, and car enthusiast. Not here to talk trash, just add input as an engine builder and enthusiast. People should build whatever makes them happy. I dont care what the make and model is, as long as its done right, and makes decent numbers - I like it.

:guitar::leghump::nx::ky::drink::cheers:

and you guys here have way better smilies then the Virginia forums.

This was taken at the mopar nationals last month - the new motor was only in the car for a few days, and the rims and tires were put on that morning.

Im going to try and take better pics of it today. Im leaving in a few to take it get detailed after the long ride from Va.

Welcome to the online cyber circle jerk, dude. People here are a bit on the e-thug side. Becareful, some of these people are ruthless. They'll pick you up and slam you head first on a sidewalk and fuck you sideways if you show any signs of emotion or remorse.

Besides the riced out grill the car is actually decent lookin'. Once again, welcome and enjoy.

So basicaly it has the same asshats on this forum that most car forums have.

And my riced out grill is actually pretty rare. It was made by SoCal Customs and theres only 3 of them in the country. SoCal turns out some pretty badass street rods and shit.

In fact, theres only 21 Turbo PT Cruiser Convertibles this color with these options. They only made that first gen body style in a vert for 1 year, and only made that color for a few monthes.

Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks bro. Im aiming for high 500s once its tuned and spraying properly. Its been tough getting the computer, AEM stuff, wastegate actuator and boost controller to work together. I can still squeeze some more out of the cams by indexing them better.

If you get on youtube, theres a user by the name of TotalSleeper who put down 599 at the wheels with a small shot if nitrous, and a big turbo, with all stock internals. So I know that it can be done.

damn dude, this is the first TASTEFULLY modded PT i have ever seen. not a fan of the grill, but its your car and as long as you like it, keep it. GREAT numbers too.

theres a few decent meets in gwinnett county, but its gonna be a decent drive from where youre at. the sonic off of riverside parkway in duluth is good every thursday night from about 8 til 11 or 12. and then theres the varsity in atlanta which is HUGE every first thursday of every month. google the stuff i said because idk any of the addresses off the top of my head.

hope to see you at some meets man. :goodjob:

Thanks man. Ive been tossing around the idea of powder coating the grille black. The interior is flat blacked out with hot rod style red and white pinstriping around the gauges.

Im house shopping the area so I dont know where ill end up.

The motor came out through the top in pieces. When it was time to get it back in we had to build a stand for it, mount it on the stand, put the car on the lift and lower it around the motor and stand.

The whole front end was off the car. It was a tight fit. Everything I need to get to is easy to reach now. Im in the process of relocating the battery under the car where the spare tire used to be.

I looked at all of those but I have no idea where any of those are. Im a Georgia newbie.

I was looking for like a nightly hangout spot. I see Tuesdays in winder.

hmmm... I'm not exactly sure what Monroe is close by. Most of the time there are weekly meets. It seems that across GA, Sonic meets are popular and seem to be on Tuesday nights... Heck, go to that section and make a thread for anyone close to Monroe, see who responds and wants to have a meet there. Might end up starting your own.
