$1200.00 seems about right what a shop would charge for the parts+labor.

I would buy the parts yourself and Do it yourself! It's not too hard, can be done with simple hand tools, and save lots of $$$$$$$.

If you buy the parts I'll install it for you for 150...

Whereas I do agree with you that the shop is HELLA pricey, I don't think $300 is a justified expectation of a full suspension set up that will yield a 2in drop. When you start talkin bout droppin your car more than an inch, those conventional struts get thrown out the window...so you can't look at KYBs or Tokico HPs or Monroes or anything like that. Your's lookin Koni 5-ways, KYB AGXs, Tokico Blue or Illumina, and those are all going to be $100 bucks or better! THEN, you've got the price of the springs on top of that. I'd say if you're getting everything brand new, look at spending $600 or so.

get the D2 coilovers for 900 off ebay. 2 inch shouldn't be a problem. Also, should just bolt right on in couple hours.

I say buy the parts and do it yourself. It wont take more than 3 hours. Get a buddy to help you.

And borrow a spring compressor too.

If you didn't stay in country bunk ass SNELLVILLE, your Max would be dropped by now. Bet if you had a Chevy truck and wanted it lifted, you'd have it done cheap as hell by now. LOL
