View Full Version : Can anyone help?: [ef bug shield]

I have searched and searched trying to find a bug shield for the 88-91 civic/crx's I have had no luck at all.I can find them for the 92-95 civic and 90-93 accords everything else seems to be for the new cars.Can anyone help out or have you seen any for our cars?.
Ventshade makes them but so far not for us.
I dislike the bra itself but the shields are more my style.:(

$70-$80 online from what I have found.

probably dont make one for our car's. im pretty sure if they did, there would be sme JDM junky on Honda-Tech with one!

I know we could not find a sunroof deflector for our car in England, since they did not make one. My dad made a wooden buck to how he wanted the deflector and laid the fiberglass to that. Turned out to look factory by the time he was done.

Could try making your own?

jdm = :tongue1: Im not some junky like alot of folks.I just dislike the mask but like the simple looks of the deflectors.

It could def help me as well.I guess I'll get into some fiberglass work some how hahaa too bad it wont be clear/smoked like ventshade's :(

Do you have a ef????Just wondering I havent seen you post pics of it yet...And I dont think they make the plastic ones believe backt the hood bras were only solution.

No..no I do not as of now.but trust me I've owned enough.:goodjob:

I'll post pictures soon as I find one worth buying and taking pictures of.:D

Not easy finding a ef unmolested/100% stock and owned by one person! that is all I am able to buy.

talked with my friend at work.

He said to his knowledge nobody made one for the ef's.

he said the only thing was the bra.

he said there was a korean company making bug shields but they were not direct fit. He said they were just multi-fit ones. He said they had no style to them just basically looked like somebody had formed glass around the outside of a box.
