I like them for what they are. Obviously they are not going to be turboed and awd because mitsu doesn't want to compete with themselves (evo). It is the fastest production eclipse ever made. Looks are subjective, but I agree with the wheel gap coment, although I think the 2g dsms have a lot of wheel gap too....that is an easy fix. other wise I don't think they look that bad, just don;t like the grill (reminds me of a pontiac) but again, easy fix, I'm sure there will be some aftermarket bumpers with better looking grills.

I aint gettin one, but as far as disgrace to eclipses... LOL look at the 3rd gen...thats the ugliest eclipse in history... the epitome of chick cars. And i know the are exceptionally well handling, but RX8's are super slow and :gay:.. my cousin has one, and gets dusted by the average civic ricer (Ls/tec owner) on a daily basis. The Mitsu Eclipse GT is VERY heavy, believe it or not. The car is a step backwards for Mitsu, in my opinion.

i see them everyday since i work at a mitsubishi dealership...and they look nice in person depends on what color though...the inside is really big for a 2 door but they drive and handle like shit in my opinion

anyways as far as the step backwards, I dont think so... well they already stopped the whole Vr4 thing.. but look they got the 4 bangin evo.. and this is infinitely better than that other eclipse.. (the one b4 this one) yeah sux that gsx is no more, but they ended that before... im just saying this one LOOKS good... i like the visuals... and it is "faster" than an rx8 bone stock, so its not a super-duper girl car... like the 3g
