Ok so a few weeks ago I posted up that I could hardly afford all of my bills due to a pay cut I had received in order to keep my job. Well it happened again...

I just got cut another $320 every two weeks...

I make less than half of what I use to make. WTF!

I am asking for anyone out there that knows/works for/or has any leads to any mechanical engineering internships or really just and job that's hiring. I am glad I have a small savings but it will run out VERY soon at the current pay.

Please if you have anything pm me. Thanks

Ok I'm not trying to be an asshole, just trying to help. If you're pay is getting cut that badly you need to get rid of that s2k and find a beater until you get back on your feet. Good luck with everything man.

No, bad idea. S2k's bring teh secks. Beaters repel teh secks. When times are rough a man has know that he can at least have teh secks. :goodjob:

be a man. sell your s2k. you shouldn't have it in the first place if you can't afford it.

reading owns you

another thing, he needs to solve the source of the problem... ie he needs to find a job that won't cut his pay. I'm not saying he shouldn't sell the car as well tho.

PM me your resume, I have some connections to flow that through especially if your interests are automotive.

i love cars and do all my own work. I have applied multiple times to various automotive places, but due to my driving record I have been denied any and every opportunity.

I will still PM you my resume. THANKS

Oh and by the way. I CAN afford my car I just need to sell it in order to get a hybrid. I do between 600-700 miles a week filling up every other day in the S. thats the main reason i cannot afford the car.

$300 car payment/month
$100 insurance/month
$350-400 in gas/month

its getting a little insane. with the hybrid it would look more like

$250 car payment
$50 insurance/month
$150-200 in gas

a savings of close to, if not more than, $300 a month (plus you cannot do much to a hybrid so I will not have extra money in parts for the car)... this would allow for the decrease in pay and hopefully really let me live again once i find something with a normal pay again.

You don't have to get a hybrid... Just get a CRX hf. same mpg, and a hell of alot cheaper than buying a hybrid.

I want something with a warranty. I don't want to have to worry about anything and if something were to go wrong it will be covered under the warranty. Plus I found a 07 with 30k miles for $15k. My payments might be as low as $200 a month after my down payment.

Also thanks to everyone for the pm's I will be sending out a few fresh resumes asap.
