i have to go to court on the 20th which is very soon ..
basically got jumped sort of and i was acting in self defense ..
just wondering if you get the bail money back ??
if found guilty what will happen ??

best thing to do is call the County in which you are charged, and try to speak to a SOLICITOR. that is the representative for the State. ask them what the MAXIMUM fine is.

usually Bail is set at or around the maximum fine for your offense. WHen you go to court, if you are found guilty and there is a fine, the bail/bond money can be used to pay the fine imposed on you, or you can get your money back and them be put on probation until the fine is paid off

I just know that if you get arrested the money you put down for bail you will get back on your court date if you are not charged, but if you are then i think it goes towards you fees that you have to pay ... nevermind don't know what I am talking about anymore, lol... I have to go see my lawyer here soon, when is your court date.. if I see him before your court date I'll ask him, lol :eye:

you should actually get all your bail money back assuming you didnt use a bondsman. if fines are assesed then you will have the option of paying them right then or getting on some sort of payment plan...usually like $50/month depending on the fine amount

fuked up thing is i was the one that was defending myself and the other guys got realeased 1st and i had 2 spend a night ..

I dont know what county your in but here in cobb when i got arrested and got bail I didnt get back a fucking dime!! I got bailed out twice and both times I had to pay back my friends for bailing me. And none of that went to any fines that was all seperate.Just my experiances

well i live in fluton but i got arrested at IBA on buford doraville i think ..
still new in the " A " been here for a year and still finding new places ..
but " brokecivic " more like they were pussys they were like 6 yrs older dem me ..
i know who they are and they will catch it when i see em around ..
but yes the guy who started this whole mess i laid him out " ONE HITTER "

from what i heard, as long as you dont use a bail bondsman and you complete your program or if found not guilt you should get all the bail money back. I just went to court today and they told me that the money will be mailed to me in a check for the bail money since we didnt use a bondsman. Other than that im not too sure

oh hell yeh i did. i paid a total of about 2300 for fines, counseling and probation. and then we get 550 back for the bail, supposedly.

for all the times that ive been arrested, the one in jackson county... i didnt see a dime of any of that money which sucked, and in gwinnett i didnt see any of that either, and ive been in there 4 times, and once down in tifton but that bail went to fines which sucked... that was x-mas money. but good luck, if you need a lawyer, i had max richardson and he got me out of so much stuff. just let me know
