lol an engine hanging over the car is not proof, maybe halfway in would be proof but i can hang a viper engine over a miata and say it fits but that wont prove anything:goodjob:

I've done that to an s13 240. Tranny was still on and everything. Man I don't want to do that again anytime soon.

No, in a front wheel drive such as this car. The service info says to drop it from the bottom sub frame and all but thats kinda hard with no lift.

Who fucking said you couldn't do that? I dropped an inline six in from the top and that's way bigger than what you were working with.

And Porsche, and old Beetles, any mid engine/rear engine car i'm sure, i'm sure others are easier through the bottom, but IMPOSSIBLE from the top? No.

Say what? I've heard you can do it both ways, but I always thought it was easier pulling it out through the top and putting it in through the top.

Here's my swap. GSR into a civic...

Yeah he found an engine somewhere and brought it to me. I didnt get anything out of doing it but it feels good to know I helped someone who needed it and just to see the look on his and his wifes face when I took them the car was worth it.
