UNKNOWN PROBLEM????????

I DID A MPFI CONVERSION AND FORGOT TO TIGHTEN ON OF THE BOLTS ON THE MANIFOLD AND A LITTLE WATER GOT IN :headslap:. SO I REPLACED THE MANIFOLD AND NOW MY DIZZY ISNT GETTING POWER! SO IS THEIR ANYTHING I CANT REPLACE THAT WILL RESTORE POWER...LIKE A FUSE OR SOMETHING I ALREADY WASTED MONEY FOR A MAIN RELAY BUT IT NEVER HURTS TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE


I REALLY NEED HELP GETTING POWER TO MY DISTRIBUTOR, I CANT GET ANYONE OVER TO LOOK AT IT :???: SO ANY LITTLE HELP WILL.......WELL HELP!

anyways... how do you know the dizzy isnt getting power? is it just not moving.. or did you use a multimeter and check it?

lol my bad i just for got caps was on!

its moving but it isnt sending a park to the plugs then i took off the plug wire from the dizzy and i didnt see any type of electric arc, i havent tried the mulitmeter yet

are you sure you wired it up correctly? recheck the wiring.

yeah i drove the car a little cause i had to move it but after i cut it off it wouldnt restart, i also went through the wires as soldiered and heatshrinked it

i change the coil after i rebuilt the distributor, i put it on my friend car and it ran, then i put it back on my car and nothing i couldnt even shock myself

is there a relay for the ignition

yep i just swapped a new one in and it dose the same thing, im thinking of pulling my dash back out and tracing all the wiring from the dizzy

and the distributor worked just fine on my friend car and when i put it back on my car it want to act retarded?:???:

i tried the swaping out method and i get the same results, and i stay in macon

but i took my dash out and i found two wire! one is white with a green stripe and 2 red line every 1/2 inch,

and the other is blue with a red stripe with the same 2 red marking, they had constant power going to them and when it touche metal it arc! i dont know what the run to? they are on the pass. side with like a 0bd1 connector

i also found the two wires that i cut for the mpfi swap, i seen they had power after i tested them with a test light.....its pins A15 and A13 i think their ground to the main relay and probablly the reason why my fuel pump wasnt comming on

i found the problem, A15 & 13 are ground for the main relay and the ecu
