carls jr. bought out hardee's a few years ago. i found that out a few years ago when i went to vegas and saw the carls junior sign looking the same as the hardee's. but yae.

A lot of the Hardees' went out of business years ago (I guess since they got bought out), but they are still definitely around. And damn their burgers are good :yumyum:

I've never been to a Carl's Jr, are they pretty much the same? (I realize they have the same sign and all)

In Mexico, the have a Guacamole Bacon Burger with a very LARGE beef patty. I was scared to try it!

Carl's Jr is pretty big in the west/mid west, and as long as you go to a good location, the $6 burgers are actually worth $6!

I got drunk at a Carl's Jr. in L.A back when I was in the Air Force. Beer and burgers FTW.

They have been very similar for the last 15-20 yrs, but CKE didnt buy out Imasco food systems/Hardees Food Systems Inc. completely till 1997...so its been well over 11 yrs. My parents worked for a subsidiary of CKE Named Grandstar LLC here in GA. My lil step brothers Grandfather is (was) the man himself Carl Karcher. We used to live 5 houses down from him in Anaheim. The man had the largest hands i had ever seen as a child....frighteningly large banana hands :cry:
