View Full Version : Power Mods upgrade injectors
i'm looking to go N/A with my dohc zc, i'm getting in intake mani and the throttle body to match it, then i'm getting my ecu thats chipped. my question is should i up-grade my injectors now or later, and what size should i go with?when i get the car tuned i will be running: headers, intake, full exhaust and hi-flow cat.

You will not need bigger injectors. Stock injector is enough fuel for the n/a ZC. Why not boost the ZC? its a waste of money for bolt-ons n/a.
idk i want to try something new.. i have done a turbo ls non-v-tec and a turbo gsr... do you know how big the stock zc injector are

i have no idea. it is a dohc or sohc zc? you could run 290cc injector from an h22 or run RC 310cc. but you should get the head milled, P&P, oversize valve, custom cam or cams if you have the dohc zc. i would look into DH racing, ENDYN, or exospeed. i recommend you go with a higher compression pistons. :goodjob:

stock they are 240cc...they are good to 180-190whp at stock fuel pressures. you won't get that unless you've done some serious work to a n/a d-series.

it's better to go ahead and have a little larger injector just in case you need more when it's being tuned.
if you're going "all out" on a zc make sure you have a walbro 255, 310cc inj (at least, probably won't need them), along with everything else you just mentioned. tuning is also going to be a requirement of part of your process that i assume you've already got in the plan.
