Something just came to me after reading some political threads on another forum. IF Obama wins, this will be the first time that when someone on the other side whines about Obama, like so many of us have done about Bush, I can proudly say " If you don't like it, GTFO".

I have seriously considered leaving, but it has nothing to do with Obama. I think the current republicans are as much as a problem and they led to the rise of Obama.

I concur. For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.

Although at the same time I can't wait for him to do something he said he wouldn't do or people become disappointed because they didn't get what they wanted or he fails to deliver or any number of things.

I'm one to go well if you dont like what the president does or say to say GTFO but there are somethings I will say that about. I think that as a whole we need to be able to criticize the actions of a President. Some of us will agree with their actions others of us won't.

Don't get me wrong if he wins I wish him all the best as he represents the country and the last thing I would want is for him to fall on his face on any matter.

He may not be able to pull off EVERYTHING, but it'll be a noticeable difference. I mean, look at all the inspiration he's already cast. Obama siked the country and now America is abuzz. I cant wait to feel the effects, it'll be rough but good sailing for Obama and hopefully for this country. America needs a refresh/reboot/powercycle/reload/Microsoft update... lol. And this man has already started something and he's not even President yet.

Nothing to hate about that.

Expanding your experiences beyond the little bubbles we all live in is something that everyone should get to do.

Also, I think it's safe to say, with any president, things will change according to how plans go. It would be asinine to expect immeidate changes in our economical situation and to be fair, he is coming into quite a mess...

I don't care to leave this country. No matter what people think, it is still the best country in the world. We still have more freedom than any other country in the world. If things don't go the way we want them to, atleast we still have a voice, and always will, if we are willing to stand up for what we believe in.
