I am looking a SI or GSR motor to put in a 2000 Honda Civic Dx. I am willing to spend like $1500-$1700 on the motor and about $500-$700 on the installation.

your looking for a WHOLE swap for that much, LOL , look hard, its pretty hard to find. you might find a LONGBLOCK for that much.

-B16 block $400
-GSR head $500
-P&P $500
-All accessories including TB, intake manifold, vlave cover, alternator, bracket, fuel rail, injectors, flywheel, carbon fiber spark plug cover, stock clutch $300
-DNX Header $130 OBO excellent condition, no dents. Stainless
so for all that ill take ill take $2300 firm if ur interested
so lmk if ur interested ..

well, no offense, but the guy that said he had a GSR swap for $1800FIRM on the first page is your best bet.
I can find you a swap, but it wont be for that cheap.
OBD2 GSR swaps go for $2500-3000 all day long. not $1500-$1700.
I can get a OBD1 for $1800-2000, but that would be a high mileage engine.
your better looking for a B16. you can piece a B16 swap together for that much. i have a OBD2 b16 BLOCK with 91k on it for $300. find a head and tranny and your good to go
