Could you say it in person? The heated arguments that have been had here.. would they be cordial in person or would they come to blows?

Honestly I'm not sure, I'm a relatively calm person but maybe a couple of things have gotten under my skin. At the least the discussion would have been heated.

And sorry guys, I got voluntold for my sons fall festival at his school saturday. Unless you guys are meeting earlier in the day Saturday I wont be able to make it.

99% of the people on this site would not say everything they have said on here in person.

cause you can see all the people posting propaganda for both sides and in person they would be called out and not have the internet to get more propaganda to attempt to save face.

SON OF A BITCH!

COme to blows? absolutely not. Look its just like i told maniac, IMO , i can say "god your stupid" or "what an idiot" and i dont mean that personally. its just a comment.

you can say im the dumbest motherfucker you ever met, and thats fine, im not gonna see you in person an be like ITS ON NOW BITCH.

I get in political discussions all the time, i actually think it would have gone ALOT better in person, than online. Hard to convey tone online.

exactly people take shit way to personal online. i mean i think why some people get mad at me is because they misunderstand my tone. if someone says something stupid in person i will call them out just like i do on here. but in person they take it in stride unlike here where they wanna get in an efight

I haven't said anything personal about anybody or anything like that so I am pretty sure I can discuss these issues in person.

I won't lie, the internet is handy for looking up statistics and checking out others' sources and stuff. If I were discussing stuff in person I would probably just stick to the topics that I'm the most informed on.

i could because i generally dont start shit with someone i either dont now or that is gonna take it personally. i dont make personal insults anyways, all that does is show lack of the intelligence required to have a mature argument.

The only debates that come to actual anger are held by ignorant people. We had a political debate in class that I just returned from. Were most of the people stupid as shit and alienated me for my beliefs, while simultaneously knowing nothing? Of course. But I don't sink down to the level of people who take political talk personally.

Oh yes, i'm the type that will talk to anyone, anywhere, about anything and i'll say my mind. Most of the things I have said on here, i have said to the guy next to me at the bar, in class, etc...

I'm very good at civil discourse, but I have a low tolerance for ignorance, bigotry, and stupidity. Truth be told I'd probably rather let dumb people listen to the sound of their own voices, than try and hose them down with logic. They don't like it, and often times they get too excited to be reasoned with.

In all honesty there isn't an opinion I hold that I wouldn't/haven't said to someone in person at some point in time.

I would probably hold back on the insults unless someone said something completely off the wall like 9/11 was an inside job then. If someone said something completely outrages that couldn't be farther from the truth I would/have not had any problem telling them to pull their head out of their ass. I think some people take shit entirely too serious online. I will admit that sometimes I fly off the handle but 99% of the shit I have said on here I have said at some point or another to someone irl

x2. I dont know ever stat and fact I have used by heart, I had to do some research to find that info. I could not carry a discussion that is nearly as indepth as I do with the aid of the internet. As far as my opinions go, I would have no problems saying them to anyone in person.

If you look at the statements i make...I can easily express myself to supporters of both parties and be respected!

I don't have that much of a temper. I could have some heated intelligent discussion, but when it turns to sheer ignorance, i just walk away out of frustration. My frustration will make me not able to think. I don't argue well if I'm frustrated. I have to be calm to argue any good point.:goodjob:
