i think it by-pass's the map sensor.

It's a bypass for the Map Sensor so the ECU doesn't read boost. If you have a fuel management system, then it isn't necessary. BUT if your boosted, and you don't have Chrome, uberdata, hondata, ect. then this is for you! :rolleyes:
