the only thing that can justify having a hood like that is for clearance, like an H22 or something. but even then, it look rediculous. If it were me, and i had clearance issues like that, i'd make a "bubble" in the hood.

Yea this guy has a H2B swap and the hood doesn't even look bolted to the hinges,I think w/most h22 swaps though specially with the Explicitspeed kit there is no problems w/the hood or anything else.
But if I were this guy I'd rather settle for some cowl induction hood to be able to close it properly or just lose the H2B set-up and run the Hseries tranny.:D

I agree some cars look good with the tilt, but like you said "what do I know?"

yea that h to b kit tilts the motor forward so it probably is rubbing the hood. Its worse in ef's than it is in eg's!
Id start going crazy with my grinder haha. Hood support would be gone!

Even w/grinding the supports the hood will not clear. It would still be jacked all up,so unless you like cutting holes in your hood it needs to be replaced w/a cowl or something.Eg's clear w/the slightest tilt and I think ek's clear no problem not too sure.
but yes the WAGON it is pretty neat.:goodjob:

How do you plan to hide a H@B w/your stock hood? even w/ITB's you still have clearance issues.
Or you just plan on running a Hseries complete all together? cause w/ESP's kit you can close your hood fine w/out the tilt.

I believe explicit makes mounts that bring the motor low enough for the right clearance.

Yes for the h22 swap, but H2b that is a negative, but then again I have not been on ESP's site for a good 6-8 months hahaaaa.
If I am wrong i'll drink a whole glass of chocolate milk.Oh and I am lactose intolerant.;)

Both 15s. The pic above just has 195/50s and the gold ones have 205/50s (mucher better size for the wagon).
