I have to say I've enjoyed the back and forth with lot of you, I've learned a TON here in the election section. Originally this site was just something to make time pass and look at cars but lately its become so much more. I think this site will grow that much more when we can discuss more than just cars.

Obviously I hope my candidate wins but if he doesn't its not the end of the world. (maybe just for 4 more years) :D

While I stopped participating regularly after I voted a few weeks ago, I have to agree that I've enjoyed a fair share of intelligent debates and have gained a lot of respect for individuals (on both sides).

Unrelated to this sub-forum though, I'm just ready for the election to be over...

Some guy at my work said that if Obama becomes president that this country would be commiting suicide. LOL I didn't wanna laugh out loud but deep down I was rolling on the floor. Probably because he also said Jesus Christ has a way of working things out.

Honestly, No.
If anything, it further cemented how I felt initially.

I have to say i have learned alot a well. not just online but talking with different ppl at work, mom and step dad, etc..

This year was my first year ever getting into politics and the stock market/economy and its really fun/interesting. I wish i was more involved and new more so i could actually get mad and make better educated posts and responses but hey, we gotta start somewhere right.

As a straight car nerd i have to say i saved forbes home page to my favorites so i know where to go look around at stuff. onlysite i know right now. and i still dnt know how to read the or understad how the stock market works yet but im proud of myself for trying.

Actually this forum did sway my vote a little. I wasnt at all impressed with McCain to start with, but the more research I did for posts really turned me off to him. I ended up writing in for president.

I had just really gotten into politics a month or two before I joined here, and have learned a good bit from lurking. I was surprised at how many people were knowledgeable, helped me out greatly.

honestly i think this was the most ADULT talk this forum has ever seen. whether you like Obama/McCain it was nice debating, arguing, bashing, finger pointing, quoting, and laughing w/ everyone over:
