However, the simple fact is...it IS a Honda, regardless of what it is badged. The car was designed by Honda, marketed by Honda and funded by HONDA. Just because their marketing scheme was to convince dumb Acura is "so much better" doesn't mean he can't badge the car it's true identity. NOW...if he put "Type R" on the back...that's a different story. There's a difference between putting Type R, Type S, M3, M5 on the back of a car then naming it it's true manufacturers name. Ya'll are just over thinking this..
