you will need the belt side motor mount off the original motor and bolt it to the z6. Also put the water neck on the original motor on the Z6 it makes it a lot easier to run the upper hose. The original trans will bolt up to the z6 but you will need to install the clutch and flywheel to that went with the original transmission.
Did you get a OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness?

Yes. :goodjob:

Also, for the VTEC wiring, you will need to convert to OBD1 with a jumper harness and wire for VTEC and 4 wire o2, also change the plugs on the harness to OBD1 ones for the dizzy. Or you can chip a PR3 with a P28 Map and stay OBD0, but then you have to use an OBD0 dizzy, and none of them bolt up without hacking them. Or you could stay OBD0 and use a VAFC with the stock PM6 to make VTEC work. Don't forget to elminate the resistor box if you are using the Z6 injectors, or you can leave it in and put the crx injectors on the Z6, they are both the same CC.

With all due respect it is very straight forward,If you run across any problems check out honda-tech they have tons of write-ups on this.It seems everything needed for it to work has been mentioned on here you should be fine.

good luck.:goodjob:

you can head swaps with the block still in the car. Just not sure witch heads can work with what blocks. I've done a 1.6 d16a6 head on a 1.5 dx block but my friend said it would work so we did it. It worked but wasn't vary much faster.

Just use the z6 engine. You'll have to cut the timing covers for the driver side mount to fit (use the mount from your original motor). Its a EASY swap. I do them in under an hour.

green91...it wasnt my car or choice plus it pisses me off today he said he is goin to stockbridge for a while soo now im even more pissed cause he isnt gonna do the swap yet.....but the swap is a d15b5 or somethin not sure its a HF and the new vtec motor is d16z6 sooo...he wants to make more power...not sure if it will......by putting the vtec head on the original block and

im about to trade a clutch for a set of cam gears and another ecu anyone want a p28 or dohc zc ecu dont have it here so no info on it....both stock not touched and work....

HF makes the swap eaiser but i wouldnt use a HF bottom end, im not even sure that it has enough valve reliefs for the z6 head.

the head should bolt right up.... and as for the comment of the d16a6 head on the dx block, the d16a6 head and d15b7 heads are basically identical, its all in the bottom end..
