Well I am starting on my project early.I am going to keep a Dseries in my ef no matter what.I have a wire tuck/shaved bay planned and I could not deal with looking at the cheesy valvecover.So I took some of my time and did a little work to a cover I had laying around.

After shaving [16valve]

Now I have to take it by my pals place so we can sandblast it.I have a color picked out already and hope soon he sprays it for me.
I really disliked the look before I shaved it.Now it looks really nice and I thought it would look dull without the [Honda Motor Co.].

Yea he does do amazing work,I wish my work was that nice!.I enjoy doing this though I am really excited to finish it up.

I hope by middle of next week I will be done.The weekends are always full to do any personal work.

Palm sander 80grit,then moved up to 220 after it was close to the cover.

..? tips.:D

[I used what I had,220 is as fine as I could source in the shed.]

i would use the 80 till its gone then go over the whole top with the 220. make for a much smoother paint surface. and go over board with the 80. u will think its gone but its still kinda there. so go to far with the 80 then use your 220 to smooth out those sanding marks
