come pay me a visit tomorrow, i work in DI @ bestbuy mall of georiga. i'll hook you up with a good camera. the 1100IS is one of my favorite cameras only because of the color accent feature. panasonic makes descent cameras although they market and make products mostly for the highschool teenage girl who is getting her first camera. that goes with casio as well. the nikon S550 is a pretty good compact point and shoot although it is a bit out of your price range at about $200. but to stick closer to the $150 mark the Sony Cybershot W120 is easy to use but with sony you have to use the memory stick pro duo which is a card most people dont already have.

if you do come by my name is Vikash and I am one of the Digital Imaging Specialists.

My first camera was a Sony Cybershot.

All of the following were shot with my Cybershot back in 05. If I can find my old portfoilo I'll attach some of the really decent ones.
