Up for sale is my Subwoofer and Amplifier.

Note: This is not for those looking for mind-numbing bass
This is setup for Sound Quality. It provides the perfect amount to Bass to equal the treble in my truck, and provides the perfect amount of "umph" to my music.

The subwoofer is a 10" MTX Thunder 8000 series. It was top of the line back when it was new. (MTX has since come out with a 9000 series) Perfect working condition, and a very solid subwoofer. It will come in a truck box, designed for regular cab trucks, But you can, and I suggest, getting a different box if putting it in a car. This sub has a lot more potential then what I am using it for. It can pound if need be. The magnet on this thing is HUGE!

The Amplifier is a 300 watt 2 channell Orion Cobalt amp. putting out 150 watts in each channel. I of course have it bridged to one channel since I am only powering one subwoofer. The dont make Orion Amps anymore so I cannot provide the specs other than what is listed on the amp itself. This is the perfect amp for this subwoofer in my opinion because it provides adequate power to the sub, without the chance of blowing the sub from too much power.

This system has been very faithful to me, but I need to pay back student loans more than I need this right now

I am setting the price at $250 Dollars. The sub alone was over 350 bucks new, so I consider this a good deal. I will provide all the wiring that I am using to power this setup including power/ground/RCA's/trip wire and speaker wire. However I do need to note that because this ws setup in a regualr cab truck, you may need longer wires if putting it into a regular sized vehicle.
