Ok, the test and tune/ fun runs/ grudge races, etc.. Scheduled for Oct 24th was rained out so that means you have more time to get your car tip top shape for racing at the strip and pulling some times.

We have moved it to Nov 7th, Same time same place.

Meet at the Qt off i85 ex 137 in jefferson at 7pm, if your coming from the north you can get with 03rcode and see where you all will meet up.

It use to be 12am, but they started closing early about 11ish and close the staging lanes around 10:30-10:40.

I don't know if I can make it now. I have my Drag setup ready, but I don't have a driveshaft loop. I don't know how strict Commerce is about that but I'm pretty sure I need a DS loop to run slicks

Thats one thing I don't recall seeing them check on street legal cars. I'm pretty sure unless its a full on drag car they don't bother looking.

I dont know what times they require that at? Just tell them you cant drive and youll probly doing 14's :goodjob: They always ask me at tech if i have a helmet and i just say nah, its not that fast. :gay: You can get a couple of good launches and when you feel you launched very well run it through and then just spectate.

It's required no matter what times you run when you have slicks.

Sux how strict they are about rules when they are the shittiest track in the state :screwy:

I will probably be there for this, but I suggest we meet at 6:00 instead of 7:00.

That sounds good to me too. I was thinking the last one of the year and there hasnt been a test and tune in a while there should probly be a good bit of people.

To get the most runs (and best track conditions) you need to be early, like I'd say a quarter til at the latest. Meeting at 6:00 gives us time to wait for people running late, BS for a bit, maybe do some tests on the way there, and possibly get something to eat before we camp at the gate.

Yup, same here. I don't want to believe that it's going to rain. I've been doing research on like 3 different weather websites hoping that the rain won't touch Commerce or if it does after 11 :)

Yeh, they canceled it about 7:45 or something.. I got 2 back to back runs in though! :goodjob: and a rain check for a fast friday next year.. I need slicks before i go to the track again though..

What were your times? I've spent most of the day installing some new goodies on my lil LT1 car. Should make some quick times when the track opens back up.
