Jet hot ceramic header coating... how long does it last?

I'm wondering if its worth the extra $100 or so to spring for the jet-hot ceramic coating on a header. I really don't care too much about their claim that it reduces temperatures, my primary concern is having a long lasting finish that won't burn off like header paint and chrome plating do.
