From my perspective, this presidential debate has revolved around changing the "politics as usual" in Washington.

For McCain, the message revolves around "Reform".

For Obama, the message revolves around "Change".

In keeping with the definitions provided by Merriam-Webster Online, the definitions of both words imply the same goal.

The questions are, if the end goal is the same, the meanings of both words similar, what makes either message better than the other? Which message do you relate to more and why?

It seems to me that McCain didn't pick up the "reform" notion until after the Democratic Convention, and Obama had already established his "change" slogan. Immediately after the convention, I started seeing republicans use the word "change," then it eventually was changed to "reform."

Honestly, the both mean the same damn thing. Nobody wants more of the same garbage that we've had in the last eight years.
