Ok this one is a little mind boggling.

I've been recently putting a hatch back together that I purchased a while ago. Well when the person pulled the main harness to paint the engine back some wires were hacked up. I soldered said wires.

Now x many months later, I have this issue.

No keys near ignition. Turn the headlight switch on to running lights. One the driver side I get running lights, on the passenger side I get running light and turn signal light. On the dash I get the temp gauge pegged, fuel gauge pegged and also both turn signal lights on.

with headlight switch in same position and key on I get the same as above but no temp or fuel pegged.

Got any clues?

I can not turn the hazzard on or even the turn signals on.

I'm too the point of ripping the main harness out and finding a good one that has not been hacked up.

I'd like to get his issue resolved then I can go on to other issues on why it is not starting but I want to get one thing done at a time.

Thanks
Richard

I think the best way to fix it would be replacing it. Or atleast pull out the harness and check it from one side to the other.

Figured out what went wrong.

Combination of things.

Fuses blown, lamps blown and a cut in the headlight harness that I did not see when I was soldering the complete harness.

No issues now.

Fired car up yesterday. I made enough noise with blowing the carbon out of the exhaust that I had 4 of my neighbors over.

Engine has not been run in approximately 6 years as far as me and a buddy can remember.

yeah now I have two Ef's that are on the road.

I'm now at 95% of finishing this one and I can change focus and do my other car.
