Airbags FTW. Also, this is proof that you dont have to stretch the shit out of your tires to make the car look good. I like it a lot.

Im running a 235 on a 9.5 in the rear so it does have some stretch to it, the Sport Maxxs actually stretch very well though and dont give the "over exposed lip" look, like the Direzzas did before. I had a 245 on my old 9.5s and they looked WAY more stretched than this setup due to the way the tire is made...

well, I'm glad its not over stretched. The way its set up now is def. the limit of stretch IMO.

But yeah, It looks really good man :goodjob:

Ah...haha I don't know anything about Work/Volk/Other JDM Tyte wheels.

Now that I know Passats are available with a manual, and that I've seen yours...I kinda really want one, but I'd hate to bite...so I'll just try and make my SAAB look just as sexy.

VW's method of attaching the lower rocker panels to the door. Its not noticeable when they are in their OEM rough black plastic for, but I had them smoothed down and painted so now it is obvious that is where the screws pull them in. I am working on getting caps made so they are hidden.

Could have been the car, I am back in Michigan, by my dad drives it occasionaly...so it is a possibility.

No worries, everywhere I have posted it people keep asking about it. Most of the time it isnt that noticeable, but in SOME lights it is REALLY noticeable which sucks. I just got word that the caps should be here in a couple weeks :goodjob:

I liked the Mandrus' too, however I just felt it was time time change it up. I ran them for a little over a year and that was enough. Who knows I might get the itch to roll something new soon again anyway ;)

For now, I am feeling the Works though.

nice. i hate when I have haggard parts of my car that people call me out on. my front bumper has no clips on it and everyone I know asks me about my fitment.

ever considered molding the lip kit, or smoothing the lines on the bumper, fogs, etc.

I think the Works are perfect...they've got that solid look that the Mandrus' had, but I think they look a bit better. I will say though, the Mandrus' were very unique. I only saw my first set in person last week on an old Mercedes S-Class.

It not a "haggard" part, it is the OEM screws. That is how they are held on, nothing I can do about it other than cover it up...

There is already a Zender lip on the car too ;)

Once those caps are on to fix the skirts and you get that ding taken out of the pass. front door, you'll definitely be set :)

I have been meaning to get that little ding popped for a while now. It happened at work. I ALWAYS parked next to the handicap spot because for years I had never seen a handicap car there. Of course the one time someone does park there they dent my door :(

I just got word the caps will be here next week, I need to sell my wheels so I can pay for them...
