Hey Everyone,

Pat has been linking me here to various threads for some time now and I finally decided to register.

I have a 1990 Eclipse GSX, and it is my 3rd DSM. Its best time to date is a whimpy 13.0 @108 (13.0@108). Should be faster, but eh, what can ya do. Right now the car is down with a blown 20g, and im trying to buy a 60trim for it soon. Ill get to nitty gritty - The pics!

Engine shot - I have an EVO3 exhuast manifold not mounted on the car yet -as well as waiting on that 60 trim I still have to buy.

Evan had a spacer in the hood... It got taken off today actually. It sits flush again. Looks a LOT better! The wheels are getting repainted soon, so all four are the same again. Guy has a 50 trim for me that I'm putting on before tune... New pics will be up when we take them for ASAP.

looking to replace syncro in 2nd gear, or see if I can put a new tranny in it... Maybe something with longer gears... But not sure what kinds of tranny's will fit...

If you really want something with longer gears, its going to cost you a pretty penny. Just rebuild that one and double syncro 2nd. It will hold perfectly fine, no need for longer gears on that car.

Ah, didnt know if you could do it yourself or not.

Thats a good question. I dont know of many local dsm shops that will rebuild a tranny. That one should be good except for second. Its only got like 40-50k on it.

You could try shooting 4GP_Chris a PM over on GADSM, or just go to www.4gperformance.net and call either Mike or Chris (I usually talk to Mike). I dont know if they can or will rebuild it, but its worth a shot.

PM me with more questions, lets not whore up Mike's thread.

Yea, I know it does. I have hoses and shit all over the place. I'm not one for show, as long as its go, then i dont care how it looks.

you wont see my car around Marietta because its not legal to drive on the street (no registration) but you may have seen me in my white dodge dakota, delivering pizza for Papa Johns if you're in my area of Marietta
