Bose Home stereos are awesome, and from the ones I've heard as OEM pieces in cars they sound pretty damned good too. They are outrageously priced though.

I knew one of you types would be posting up, do you honestly think 90 percent of the audio purchasing masses are pure audiophiles? Seriously, thats why Bose is still in business and thats why they can charge what they want almost. It sounds good to the masses , just like Honda Civics are good enough for 80 percent of the driving population.
