Loaded the car up last night to be sent up North. Heading to meet the trailer I did a small pull under the highway. I love this sound, minus the clutch slipping! Listen for it.
Props for CarbonGS for pics and the unexpected vid:goodjob:

It's headed to Wakeman Ohio. It doesn't hold power over 20psi. Watch the video and listen to it slip.

why do it yourself when you can pay others and not be financially burdened. i assume its affordable for him at least

I always tought most peole wanted to take credit for building their cars, not paying too have a car built for you.
It has nothing too do with money, just satisfaction of knowing you built it yourself!! Guess it easy to run low 10s when you have a shop built car! Oh well enjoy spending that money!

i build my own, but if i had the money id let someone else do it and just me be known for the laptimes or quarter mile times for successful driving. stop the bitching, the guy obviously has a nicer car than most of the people on this board.

Haha im not bitching!! i was just asking a question, and it guess its all in the eye of the beholder!! im sure their are plenty of shops in Atl that could fix a boost and tranny problem!

there are always easier routes but when you and a shop have a mutual agreement (im sure he does) then yeah i can see why he would take it to the same shop every time.

Its not that he isnt building it himself. He's sending it to one of, if not the best, evo tuners in this country. :tongue1:

No offense taken at all! I travel quite a bit and never would have the time to get the car where it's currently at. Not to mention the space and tools. Also, Dave/Dan Buschur and crew are good friends of mine. I have been burnt SO bad in the past with SH!T shops that I would rather spend the extra $ to be assured it's done right the first time.

Would I be happier if I did all the work myself?...eh, probably more proud. But I did work hard for the money that has been spent on creating it... so I agree with you in saying that it's all in the eye of the beholder:cheers:

FWIW: The car only has a clutch issue. Everything else is working spot on.
