fOR THE style that he/she was trying to accomplish (obviously bippu), I think the execution was really spot on, exterior wise. Not sure about the interior. As afar as it being a Kia, so what. There isn't a car made (that any of us own) that hasn't been called "just a _________" by someone. So, if they like, kudos. I like the BIPPU style, so I think it's a nice looking car. I think the issue is the muffler is the right size for maybe a Q45 and even on that car the tips come out and swing up some. This post is just more proof on how wheel choice and offset can completely change the car, love the deep blue as well.

Probably so because I have a dual pattern cam an exhaust leak between the manifold and downpipe, my muffler is about 90% rusted out, and I have coat hangers holding up my exhaust. :goodjob:

Not to make this about one of my cars but the Galant was merely a carcase for the stereo. We didn't sell or build cars, we sold and built pretty amazing systems. In fact if anyone remembers, we showed the car for nearly the first year on stock suspension, ass dragging, with hub caps. If I remember correctly there were more ricer comments and "hey do those logos make the car any faster" comments made during that time then I care to admit to. At least the comments were coming from guys who built cars...not bolted on a wheels and a mis-fitting tailpipe and called it a day. When the car was done I think people realized that it wasn't about the car, it was about the gear and the talent it takes to build a unique interior. I get the "build a car on a budget" concept but for umpteen people to say that that car is amazing? My comments stand. If people are that enthusiastic about that car, this place has truly slipped.

People are blown away because it's a Kia. It's such an unassuming car that people are amazed that anyone would a)put money into it and b)actually make it look good (assuming you like that style). I wouldn't really call it amazing...but, I've seen Hyundai's and Kia's done in BIPPU style and done FAR beyond what is shown here. So, it's not really as "wow" to me. However, I think if it's something you've never seen before, it could come off as VERY nice. Yes, it's a Kia. However, the kit is clean, fitment is good, camber is aggressive, but nice. And yes, the exhaust is gaudy, but it fits the car and style that they're going for. Like I said before, the execution of this was done correct. Anyone who's part of the VIP culture will tell you that Junction Produce is not a cheap company and they don't make cheap parts. It's the Veilside of the VIP world.

At the end of the day, if you don't like it, you don't like it. If you do, you do. However, the car was put together very well and coming from an execution standpoint, it's top notch.
