to find out if it's your alternator ,, crank her up, and disconnect the battery!
if the car is still running, then your alternator is good
if the car dies after when you disconnect, then that means your alternator is not holding power. just something to check before assuming your alternator, i'm no expert in the 4g world.. but just my ghetto checking methods

Its low coolant light. The sensor on the bottom of your reservoir is causing it because your reservoir is empty.
Fill your reservoir with coolant, and it should go away.
Now you gotta find where the coolant is going.

it cant be i already checked that its fine unless the sensor went bad, ummm im confused, ill check it all out tomorrow and let you guys know what happened, the other thing is that i dont have a stock radiator so if it was off before and it was not plugged up or something what would have cause the light to come on?

The light should not come back on as long as you plugged it back in. Thats what that light means, the sensor may be going bad then, but that is your low coolant level light.
The only other option is possibly your alternating going out. Low battery voltage can cause crazy things. Take the car to auto zone, advanced, whatever and have them test the charging system. They will do it free on the spot, and then you will know for sure if you are looking at a new alternator or not.

Mine came on the other day. It is low coolant in the resevoir. Or I could just say x2 on what Pat said...
Edit: The low coolant light stays on until your car is cranked. I see the battery picture is lit up too... Does the coolant light stay on all the time when the car is running?

yeah both of them came on and i found out the alternater is bad so if anyone has a spare one please let me know im without a car right now, and im guessing they both came on because of the low charge on the battery or something bc like i said i dont have a stock radiator so that plug was not hooked up in the first place, it must just be like he said before that the lights went crazy when the battery went low, but yeah it will be fixed tomorrow, please let me know anyone who has a first gen being parted out if you have an alternator i need one, thanks Chris

Do yourself a favor, and get an alternator with a warranty. I know, theyre pricy, but they go out so easily. I got one from auto zone, and although it was rebuilt, you cannot beat a lifetime warranty.
You will kick yourself in the ass if you go out, get a used alternator from a 1g for $40 and it dies in a month. Ask me how I know.
Is your PS pump leaking? Few things will kill an alternator as quickly as PS fluid leaking on it.

yeah a little bit thats what i think happened i fixed the leak though i guess i was to late, but yeah i am going to get a new one it cost 99 dollars at advance plus its a 50 dollar core so it would be 50 bucks fr a new one and its a lifetime warrenty so yeah i think thats the best route thanks everyone for your help guys when i get a chance you all will be repped so check them

Not trying to rain on your parade, but I think that is $99.99 plus a $50 core. So if you show up with the old shitty one, youre looking at that price, if you show up minus one its $149.99.
