i need help on my car

i just bought a 91 prelude si. when i shift into second and just let the clutch out without giving it gas and ride then try and give it gas it wont do anything for about 5 seconds then it goes. what is the problem. help me i dont know how to work on cars. thanks.

o2 sensors might be bad. Replace them and see what happens.

check the plugs and wires, how high do the rpms go up before it takes off?
