I was able to finally pick up Leisa's Urn yesterday and bring her home. I cant explain it but for the first time last night because she was in my room I slept through the night for the first time since this nightmare began. I cant explain it, but I feel a calm in my life now, like I can begin to try and pick up the peices of my life. I dunno, But her being home is where she belongs and I am glad to have her back home.

Yeah just bringing her home has really changed things, Granted right now at night I put her in the bedroom and in the day downstairs in the living room, and Im sure I will stop doing that eventually, But for now, I kiss the top of the urn before I go to bed and tell her good night and in the morning I kiss the top and tell her good morning. I cant explain it, just feels like her here can allow me to begin to heal.

listen brett you don't know me, but I can relate to your pain. Except for the whole urn part. I'm sure youll be on your feet before you know it. I am truly sorry for your loss. I have lost loved ones, but not anything close to an immediate family member.

But it was really hard to let Brittanee go today, I cried and so did she, Was hard to say goodbye to someone I raised for 10 years and reminds me so much of her mom

The last peice of Leisa is in your heart Brett, you will always have that, you keep going and she will keep going in you.

One step at a time man. You're handling things a lot better than most of us would and that's commendable. :)
