That's one thing i don't like about that kind of "metal." Every one of the songs (yes I actually listened to them) sounded just like the one before it. Personally, I've never been a fan or even a listener of that type music. Later, QD.

i actually kinda agree, we just got rid of the guitarist who wrote the songs that sound most alike. to me "broken dreams" and "like a flame" are wayyyy too similar.
"fading", "in my presence", "legends", "juggernaut", and "agnosticism"
are all pretty varied. thanks for checcin us out tho:goodjob:

Well it wasn't only the music but the vocals as well. From what I heard, (I listened to about 6-7 tracks), the vocalist sounded exactly the same in every song. Other bands I've heard that have this sound usually have the singer change up his tone or whatever you call it a bit. Sometimes he'll sing like yours does and others he'll have a more mellow voice. See what I'm saying?

One other thing.... Is this metal music? I thought it was different type of metal. I don't remember metal sounding like this. I don't know is why I'm asking. It could be different from the days of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and such, lolol. Later, QD.

its alright, sounds like a replication of the local band Attila.

but i guess thats what metal is coming to now :dunno:

One other thing.... Is this metal music?

It's really just a subgenre of metal, but traditional metal isn't really around anymore... its mainly a combination of metal and hardcore now...

On another note, I'm with Hulud on that it sounds alot like Attila

i've heard of attila, but never heard their music.

for a long while we were ranked top unsigned metal band in the state of GA and 7th was the best we got for unsigned metal bands in the US according to myspace's rating system, which obviously doesnt mean much.

and yeah justin's vocals are pretty consistent, but he's uses more range live than that year old recording. and around here all the other bands JUST do brees and chugs. we're still growing with our music all the time. we've got 4 songs on the myspace right now, but we'll have the 4 new ones up soon

It isnt bad, I'm just not a fan of the singing. I tend to listen to the older metal. I really like Pantera, his singing had plenty of variety and some clean singing.
