OBD2 head, on obd1 b18b1 block, To go in 1998 Integra with stock ecu.

I get many different opinions on this.
Will it work?
If so, What needs to be done to avoid a CEL light?
Any reply is Helpful,
REPS Given.

Yes it will work.. If your car is OBD-1 then use the intake w/injectors, Dizzy etc from the OBD-1 head..

just make sure the EGR is there if it is needed (which means use the OBD2 intake)

Im not sure what has EGR an what doesnt, IIRC ALL OBD2 cars have EGR, so use the OBD2 intake manifold

what if your car is obd2?
Now you make no sense.. You want to put a obd-1 head on a obd-2 car?
If so just use all the OBD-2 stuff as listed in my other post.. Same concept.. :goodjob: Also I only speak of a head not a block.. ;)

That makes alot more sense now.. :goodjob: You have to swap the crankshaft fluctuation sensor from the OBD-2 to the OBD-1 Block, You'll have to swap the oil pump as well because you need the mount points the obd-1 pump don't have... (If you pull the crank pully off along with the timing cover you will see it) That will give you a better idea since I posted a crappy pic..
