i disagree....the movie did not have a lot of action. the best part was the last 10 min and even those 10 min werent very good. the movie did a crap job following the game story line. i kept hoping for it to get better but it never did. but thats my opinion

it's a movie that's PG-13 that's based on a Mature rated game. What the hell made anyone think it would be good?

my buddy wanted to see it so we went to the 9 something movie... i fell asleep 3 times... the ending was the only good part of it, it was slow with minimal action scenes. bullet time is used once for about 10 seconds. wasted idea. but yeah over all 4/10 sorry. the game might have been better but even having it all explained to me, it still sucked

the story changed around too much and didnt even follow the games story line. the movie shoulda been narrorated by max, it felt like a cheap detective movie....in the game he gets framed and hes on the run the whole time....and the bullet time was lame, it was used in two scenes and the last scene was done really bad. u dont even see the bullet....the only thing about this movie that was max payne was the amount of pain i got watching it.

max payne should've been called max(imum) pain. :2up: i give this movie to middle fingers up. this movie was shit, absolute filth that taints the good name of a great game. whoever made this movie ought to be shot, and wahlberg ought to be slapped for completely ignoring the lack of a bearable script.
