-Ant. I fixed it 4 times all ready I can't keep taking a 4k hit on rebuilding it. I have spent far to much money on this car in the year and 3 months I have had it. Enough to buy a 2006 GTO right now with cash. That shit is going bye bye I need to save money and take care of my family. It was fun when it ran but that was only about a month or 2 since total of time is was up.

you need to take the motor out of your GTO, put a cam in it, put it in your 240 and not only will you make more power, but you won't blow it up anymore. hell you'll even get better gas mileage..........

rsx would be better. trust me there are too many road blocks i didnt envision with the SS i have now. k20 as my research shows, is good power + economy. Sorry about the blow up

although if u want 400+ hp reliable just do a hahn turbo swap. Only reason i dont is because i love my SC whine :(

we just had a cobalt ss on the dyno last week, we did a before and after of just doing an ebay exhaust manifold/cat midpipe that he brought to us (he had catback already and intake) and he made like 18 more hp from it, i think his final number was 230hp.

i say that cause it won't break, and still has boost so it's better than a focus.

i make 275 hp and 250 tq on the mustang dyno before methanol

300hp is about max for this shitty m62 heaton. Otherwise go TVS and get 350.... or turbo 440, or twincharge 500+.

btw our internals can only take 350, tranny 350, and clutch...rofl 250 maybe?

oh yea and enjoy breaking axles at 300 with DRs, solid mounts etc

fricken gimp the plagues we deal with....although i get 35 mpg with this power. i wont lie, im stoked for this being a DD.

intake+exhaust = 230 is a very forgiving dyno. I've seen similar numbers but the norm is around 220. True enough the ecotec lsj is a VERY forgiving motor. You can beat the shit out of it and it will smile at you. The transmission and everything else, not so much.

what dyno place did you take it to? Id like to see my numbers on it when i install the methanol next week.

btw focus is shit. dont waste your time

ms3, s2k, cobalt turbo, csrt4, si/rsx (if u boost it) are hot
