How slow is the court? Really slow...

Never knew they would take this damn long..

I got a ticket on August 27th for following to closely.. I had called about 4 times already..

I called today and same story.. so today I finally asked.. why it take them so long to figure out how much my fine is..

There response was...

" We never know until 1 or 2 weeks before "

So I said : Well, what about if I want to pay the thing..

They said : you can pay it when it approaches your date or on that day..

I said : Well, What about if im broke when that time comes..

They said : We will put a bench warrant..

hahaha how lame..

Forsyth is famous for being an absolute pain in the ass county whenever it comes to anything involving their judicial system. I had a buddy get ticketed on lake lanier last summer for "wakeboarding while intoxicated". Forsyth sheriff said that the wakeboard qualified as a watercraft just like a boat or waverunner. He went to court and they fuckin' threw the book at him. Any other county would have thrown the damn case out.

Good luck with yours Julio. :goodjob:

id say do a trial by jury, but thats just so it cost them more than the ticket is worth.

id say do a trial by jury, but thats just so it cost them more than the ticket is worth. Then they'll more than likely charge him court fees, so whats the point?

I think I was early morning dreaming or something.. I wont lie..

It was on 20 right in front of the BP across the street from Atlanta bread company.. I honestly never saw the truck in front of me... I dont know what the fuck I was thinking.. He was at the light ... I hit the breaks , car just kept going.. I even tried the anti lock breaks.. but nothing.. and couldnt really change lanes... cars on both sides.. so I said fuck it.. and bang, hit the truck.....

He's name is Officer Banning R.C.. badge number 2714...

He was a cool officer... But I thought he was going to let me slide since the road was obviously wet..Shit he even marked it on the ticket =/

He's required by policy to give a citation to the at-fault party in any accident involving another vehicle unfortunately. Just keep trying to call and talking to different people, the citation should have been processed long ago and ready to pay.
