C6's have more potential and also are a better bang for the buck when it comes to $$/hp ratio.

Either car will be badass if you plan on building the hell out of either one

I know you love Audi's, but I think BMW makes a more reliable vehicle with a better warranty :eek:Its better than the rs4, newer, more modern layout, and more high tech gadgetry :). I've honestly heard very few problems about late model Audi's. And their warranty is similar to BMW's 4 yr, 50k mile service. I would say since you allready on a vette, Then get the M3. Or if you got 70k there are a couple of Heavily modded 996 tt on the market. Or you could get a used Cayman S and Twin Turbo or SuperCharger it have 420rwhp and be around 3000 lbs even. Which then it has more power than the Turbo and Lighter. It would be a track beast because of the mid engine plafrom.

Either a C6 or a C5Z06. Both have sick aftermarkets and make gobs of power even n/a. Im working on getting mine to do high 10's n/a and in the 9's with spray. I would like to make 520whp+ on motor, may do the 427 :D You could get a good C5z and do the Aps TT kit and be at 640whp+ alone and in the low 10's :) Plus the c6 is a great balanced car for track/drag/etc. and fun to drive! As for mpg if you keep the c5 stock i avg 29.5-29.7 to macon and back and still runs 12's... Hard to beat :goodjob:

I did however order it, pick it all out, and seal the deal with Erica (most badass sales lady ever) at Jim Ellis for my momma. I'll post some pictures of it eventually.. Pictures don't do it justice...It's the only car a family member of mine has owned that I just really really want for myself. We have sence been offered $68,000 for it and we almost sold it because that was wayyy over what we paid but I think we have the same Audi love as you and we kept it.

No wheaties in ur shit huh? Maybe you thought they were frosted flakes because of all the jizz oozing out of your asshole. ;)

Is it going to be a DD? What kind of power are you looking to make? What is your budget? Do you favor performance over luxury? These factors that would matter to me, maybe or maybe not to you. If you're looking for facts about the car do some research. Are you really going to decide which car you buy on this thread? If yes, you're a moron. If no, your thread is pointless. My reasoning behind e46>c6: Much more attractive of a car IMO. I like the c5 body style much better than the c6, so why not c5z? E46s are also more luxurious and the overall build quality seems to be better. Ls2s have a more aftermarket support than the s54. LS2s are also faster stock and much easier to derive power from. E46s can be had for cheaper than c6s, so you could spend the difference on FI. IMO the e46 is a much more refined car.

There we go, now we're getting somewhere! :goodjob:

-It will be a car driven mainly on weekends and to meets/raced
-Don't really have a budget, but it'd be foolish to spend $80k on such a depreciating asset. Both cars offer a little bit of both, so why settle for just one?
-Do you honestly think I'd weigh my decision on what these people have said? ;) I've done research, just wanted people to express they're opinion/why they thought that way. By the way, aren't all IA threads pointless? In the Whores Lounge, no doubt. See my previous retort about what I think of others' opinions. This thread brings more substance than the "OMG ATTN: (IA NAME) YOU'RE GAY LOLOLOL" threads.

I've owned (2) C5Z06's, so I thought I'd branch away. From my research, the two in this comparison are about the same in price.

P.S=
"Maybe you thought they were frosted flakes because of all the jizz oozing out of your asshole."

^ This was so weak I'm not even going to bother giving you a proper rebuttal.

Want to play tummy-sticks?
I've always had a spot in my heart for vettes, but I just dislike the aesthetics of the c6. I will admit c6z's are the tits, but idk if your financial situation would permit such a car. If you're looking to branch away, why not get the M? I've actually been toying with the notion of picking one up myself because they're just so darn cheap now. Most of the ones I've been browsing are low to mid 20s.

p.s. I invented tummy sticks.

IMO, It'd be a better idea to get a 996TT. I'd rather not buy a non-turbo Porsche.
