Hello all, purchased another EF from a member on here to be my daily driver while I rebuild my white car. Figured I'd make a build thread to document the progress and mods I do. Enjoy

Day One:

Update #1
Well the busted interior wasn't gonna cut it if I was to drive this thing everyday so.....tear down time!!
I took everything out too clean it down real well. I replaced the dash w/ the nice one out of my white car, and got all the vents in, & added a dash clock. Also I replaced the busted rear panels w/ some good ones, and add some rear speaker pods that I had laying around. Put in a rear well cover also. While everything was apart, i decided to redo the headliner as well. The blue vinyl rear seat were replaced with light blue cloth ones. Vacuumed the carpet down good too.

I pressure washed the outside, removed the stickers, and put on my old 14" OZ wheels

For the engine bay, some Simple Green and a good ole' pressure washin :D Along with bead blasting the yellow off of the DPFI cover

Update #2

Ok so I'm piling these updates in to catch up to its current status. No I couldn't do everything in one day, as much as I wish I could have.

Exterior:
Not much has gone on here. Previously changed to my 14" wheels, removed stickers, added on a passenger side mirror, put door moldings on the passenger side, and put my roof racks on to haul the bike around with. I have puchased another good pass. side door and front fender, but they are both red, so waiting till paint.

Engine Bay:
Painted the DPFI cover, and added an intake w/ filter.

Interior:
Spent some time in here. Previously replaced dash, rear panels, rear seats, headliner. Added new speakers and covers, rear speaker pods(speakers coming soon), rear cargo cover, new shift knob, and installed a cig lighter.

Yeah its pretty bad A. I threw on my flat bmx pedals and dropped the seat for some urban assault the past few rides in town. Tested out my front flip the other night going down this long steep grass/dirt hill. Actually I came to the top at speed and had to hop this big curb at the top, well i didn't hop high enough and tapped the rear wheel which sent me forward into a front flip down the hill. Glad I had my helmet on, as the bike found my head as did the ground. :doh:

Thanks man. As for the white hatch, it is getting completly gutted interior wise while I decide on what to do with it. Gonna sell some turbo stuff and make some changes. You can see it in the back ground of this pic on jackstands. :(

Looks a whole lot better after all the work. You should find a nice clean CRX Dash and put it in one of your cars! I think that looks so good.

Well there are a ton of trails and mountain roads etc but we've been doing more "urban biking" aka riding around town lol. Dahlonega city is actually a great place to ride, many hills, jumps, terrain etc.

What are you smoking?????? :thinking: But Alan, don't have to much planned. Right now my job has slowed WAY down so finances are tight, so it is going to sit for a while. I'm going to redo the turbo kit, so some stuff may be for sale.

Update

Got the Delsol seats in. They were in my white car, but I didn't like how we had them mounted. Not that it mattered since the 89 and 90 use different brackets. So had to make some new brackets, but now they mount good and solid. Threw in my Broadway rear view as well. Also added an ash trey light from an Integra, scweet.

Got some some other wheels that I plan on throwing on once I need some new tires. They were originally gold w/ the raw lip, but I think i'm going to go with silver center & polish the lip. Started sanding and bead blasting on some of them

I had one night to strip all the brakes off of the Integra so I brought home a lift ;) Picked it up, and got everything of in a few minutes. :D

So how much did you have to modify the seat bracket? I just picked up a clean little 90 crx and want to throw some del sol seats in it. LMK whats up. Anywho.. The daily is going to look good with those new wheels.

Outside bracket, the rear just needs to be bent down and the hole elongated. The inner side needs to have brackets to move the mounting holes about 1" 1/2 over.
