Too low and those wheels are just as ugly as the donktard Challenger. Muscle cars are not to be "crushed" like that. Keep that sh*t on Veedubs and what-not.

Do people really not understand the concept of "retro"?

new age and time son, change the style up, now you really cant hate on this challenger, that shit is hard.

new age and time sonChange is bad apparently. People used to have taste and actual style. Take a look at the classic vehicles on Barret Jackson to see what real styling is as opposed to the ghetto thug bullsh*t you see on some random ear-numbing rap music video.

now you really cant hate on this challenger, that shit is hard.If by "hard" you mean a hard failure then I agree with you. The whole concept of this car is to pay homage to the classic vehicle that was a landmark in Dodge's history. Ricers and retards that are taking these cars, slamming them this low, or putting them on stupid sized rims are ruining the entire thing and that's a d@mn shame.

They're already out. The SRT8 is 40grand. The R/T is 35k, the SXT starts at around 25k. That car is on Airbags...USAA I think. It rides at regular height when crusing. It's just sitting like that for the pics. You can't ride those cars slammed like that. It's not like a civic or something. The LK chassis that the car sits on is only 400lbs lighter (per package) than the LX that it's based off of (300's, Chargers, and Magnums) . And those are 22's. Any other questions. :D

Ran I dunno, you should look into the Pro Touring scene with the old muscle cars. It sorta fits ( only most don't sit AS low ).

"Ricers" generally can't afford these cars..real talk. This particular model is about 45k (it has the mygig w/nav, kicker audio, and carbon fiber overlay). Now, the 09 models that will hit the stores soon will offer a more affordable version as well as the R/T and SRT, similar to the Charger and Magnum. However, to mych people's approval, their ditching the 2.7l v6 which, is useless by all accounts. Most of the Challengers' YOU'LL see for now, it's mostly companies. Old men yearning for nastalgia will also get'em. The hood has already spent their money on the 300's, Chargers, and Magnums so don't expect to see much of the donks for now in these. And quite honestly, the hood ain't doing too bad a job (in comparison to what we're used to seeing). That particular car is a show car...as a matter of fact, everyone that's been posted (the 3 that I've seen) are companies cars..not individuals. Even with the LX cars, MOST of them are tastefully done. SRT's come with 20's stock. However, in MOST cases, you'll see 22's at most. And most people aren't bagging these cars. If you see one slammed like this, it is bagged and doesn't ride like that. These cars are too heavy to ride that low all the time. And, like any modern car, there's too much technology in them to do it without issue. IT's simply for pics, son.

pretty sure the bags are Air Ride Technology. The guy didnt want the car cut up at all or else it could sit a lot prettier with some wider rear wheels.

Actually not bad looking, especially with that drop. Too bad about the poor wheel fitment.

alpine_aw11

That's better. Challengers are obviously meant for 20-22 inch rims. The problem is most big rims are hideous, those go well with the car. Very nice.

"Ricers" generally can't afford these cars..real talk. This particular model is about 45k (it has the mygig w/nav, kicker audio, and carbon fiber overlay).A "ricer" is a mentality, not a price tag. You can buy a Ferrari and still rice the hell out of it. While the term may not fit this vehicle as much as "just plain ugly" does, the general implication is made.

Theres no such thing as too low. That Challenger is clean as hell.

neon_guy
10-13-2008, 07:55 PM
What I'm saying is the market for these vehicles generally don't cater to rice. I mean, how many riced out ferrari's have YOU seen? While it's not a pricetag, the mentality is generally from a specific type of "income level". Not to say it NEVER leaks over, but rarely.

Its a style of car, low car big wheels.... y such animosity.... every car isnt gonna be on the track..just cruising around... i like it!

The car looks good but IMO, it sits too low in the front.
