ok I have a problem that I am having trouble to pin point I have an ls/vtec that smokes white but here is the catch I ran a pressure test and it checked out good so I dont think its burning coolant, there is no water in the oil so I dont think its a blown head gasket it was replaced new maybe 1000 miles, the motor pulls very hard and only smokes sometimes and I have noticed it shortly after decelerating or in time periods for example it always occurs in the same redlights twice on my way to work and not once on my way home, this is confusing me any suggestions before I begin to tear it down thanks in advance.

check ur pcv valve. if you have the black box on the back of the block.and the pcy is bad....it will cause problems

Well, check the PCV valve first because it is the easiest. But the symptoms you are describing sound like worn or cracked valve stem seals. I say that because it is doing it when the throttle body is closed (deceleration and idling at redlights).

might be the valve seal in the head. Are you running a test pipe or with cat. converter on it?

Sounds like valve stem seals.
