I know a autotragic wont move without fluid but is it the same for a stick.Reason I ask it I just put a new clutch in and drove it down the street and now I put it in gear and it wants to move but doesn't.Then I see the tranny is pissing all of its fluid out.Should I fix the leak and try it or pull the trans.

well it could have seized up on you(which is the probable cause) but have you checked to make sure your parking brake isnt on

I didn't run it with no fluid it in it.Only for a sec.The parking brake was not up.

does it bog down or what does it do when you put it in gear and let off the clutch?

A manual transmission (usually) uses a dry clutch where the power is transmitted through solid material.

I'm not really sure whats going on in your case though, good luck with it.

It kinda wants to move but doesn't bog.

Pretty much.I know it sounds like the clutch but thats the reason I got it so cheap. Also I drove it around with no problems.

i would still check the clutch, not sure what kind of car you have but i would check into seeing if there may be some adjustment in the clutch. or if it is hydraulic make sure its bled

oh also if it is a fwd make sure the cv axles are all the way engaged, sounds stupid but i have been there and done that.
