I just installed a WW Lip on my Integra. Right now it's screwed on but I know they can get stolen and I want to make it more permenant after I get my alignment. What are some things you have used to attach lips to the frontend a little more semi permenant.?

Two sided tape?

I used black hex screws. It'll take a little more than just a screwdriver/flat head to get the lip off. Unless they break it off ... :(

Two sided tape?

Yea, it has that but i am more concerned about it getting stolen and the tape won't help that

3m double sided tape, 10mm nuts AND bolts, and then screws. if you want more security use rivets as added security

Im pretty sure if they wanted your lip they would take the car along with it.

I've never had a problem with lips or spoilers getting stolen. If you're that concerned, definitely go for either hex head screws or see if you can get some small security Torx nuts and bolts to hold them on maybe? If they really want it, they're gonna get it.

I used 3M tape on mine along with regular bolts on underside and screws under fender and when I went to take it off...holy hellatious.....it was a pain!!! That thing didnt want to budge! But yeah....like everyone else is saying.....if they want it bad enough..they will get it no matter what is holding it on! But whats the point of getting it if its going to be all destroyed...? They are going to be semi-careful....soooo I say no matter what all you do....use the tape....takes time to get off w/o snapping lip in half! =)

Well, I ended up using some Hex bolts to screw it on. I would use the double sided tape but I do like that I can remove it if necessary. For instance when i went yesterday to have it aligned. He was actuall able to drive it up on the rack without using both boards. Only one was uses. :-) After I got home I re-installed it with the new bolts.

You can do this for a nice smooth look:

1. pilot holes
2. sink holes
3. screw or bolt it through
4. bondo to cover the hole
5. repaint.
