I might be picking up a legacy wagon, and it needs a new motor. so i was thinking sti swap or ej20R twin turbo. What shop should i contact?

probably topspeed would be best at but be prepared to spend 10k+ to hire someone to do it. especially a full swap NA to Turbo. the whole wiring harness will need to be swapped.

or you can go on Wrx atlanta. there are a couple of guys on there that will do it for a much fairer pricetag

Is the legacy your talking about the one on craigslist for $500? Me any my buddy were thinkin about buying it and turning it into a rally car. There's a place called east coast swappers up north that specialize in subaru engine and tranny swaps that is probably the best place on on the east coast for subaru swaps. Hope that helps you out some.

Dont bother with the TT swap unless you know what you're getting yourself in for. JDM swaps will not pass emissions in GA (ask me how I know :goodjob: ). It's a dirt cheap motor because the Legacy platform is almost more common than the WRX overseas, it'll be a PITA to tune and find parts for. You can get Ej205 motors out of a WRX for next to nothing or pay more money for a nicer STI 257. You'll need to upgrade the tranny so it might be worth it to buy a wrecked car for the harness, motor, tranny, ecu, etc.

I'm sure Batlground or Topspeed could do the swap for you but it'll cost money. You dont have to swap the entire wiring harness like YungDz said but you will have to do a lot of splicing, especially with a newer drive-by-wire STI motor.

We've done a number of NA 2.5 to STi swaps lately. My '99 RS to WRX driveline and interior swap is almost done.
