Today UPS delieverd my XBOX 360 to them since last week I got the 3 rings of death after buying it just under a year ago, They recieved it today and its already been fixed and shipping back out today, Not bad to fix it same day.

Check your serial number, they are known to just swap 'em. :goodjob:

I dont mind if they swap it, I didnt write down the serial number. I just know mine was a newer one, Not the first gen.

Hopefully they give you a similar unit then and not a 1st gen. If you get a first gen, raise holy hell.

I hope I dont, But I doubt Id send them a newer one and they give me a old ass one. Plus they better swap my HD but Id think it was a east fix, I think they just have to re connect a chip and thats all, usally the over heating causes a sodder joing to snap and thats what causes it, so should be a 5 min. fix.

You're supposed to pull the HD before you send it in. Helps keep them from losing it. Keeping my fingers crossed for you man.

He should have told you. The guy who helped me with mine told me to pull everything, even the faceplate. Then when the box came there was a bright orange or yellow piece of paper in the box that read "Pull Your Hard Drive!" or something to that effect.

Not trying to scare ya, chances are you'll get it all back. :goodjob:

They just sent me a UPS call tag via email and had me box it myself, so I didnt get a box sent to me

i need to send mine in

the ring of death popped up about 2 months ago but I havent gotten around to it. I definately want to pick up Gear of War 2 next month so I think im gonna send it off this next week

thats weird. ive sent mine in 2 times and both times they sent a box out. you should be alright. if not, ill help you hunt down bill gates :ninja:

Mine's been sent off 8 months, everytime I've called to ask they tell me that they will look into it, and email me the reason. I've yet to get a reply.

Thier site says 2-3 weeks, so I was happy for a same day turn around, Must mean they dont have many coming in anymore

Lol. I've been too lazy to print my tracking paper and get a box to send mine off. I guess the month I've been procrastinating I could have had it back by now.
